My boyfriend (New Zealander) has just been issued two new visas, one that kicks in right away, the other needs to be activated by crossing the Canada-US border.
Should I anticipate a problem with him crossing to the US? Should we apply for a visa to cross the US? or do they just give you one when you show up?
If you get a Working Holiday Permit or SWAP visa, can Canada refuse to let you enter? Cause you pay $200 and $500 respectively for them!
