Hey guys!

I really wanted to put together an Arashi performance for next year's Otakuthon in Montreal (August) and, if we're ready in time, maybe Anime North in Toronto (May)!

A friend of mine and I are potentially going to be doing it together, but we'd really like to be 5 people! Are any of you interested? =) I'm opened to incorporating ( Read more... )

Yes, please! That was a reply so much quicker than I could have hoped for. ^o^ Are they both in Montreal? (Are you?)

If there's 3 of you and 2 of us, we could actually start discussing the details. Let me know!

(P.S. When you said you had a Leader and Ohno, you meant people, not costumes right? Lol, I wasn't sure. Sorry if I misunderstood!)

both, haha. I made the ohmiya sk costumes. My friend likes to cosplay as nino, and I like to cosplay as leader.

Which costumes were you thinking of? There are so many I'd be willing to make ... (like the patch costumes from 10-11 scene tour :D)

and no, we're not in montreal, but i go to otakuthon every year.

There is only 2 of us unfortunately, but i'm sure we can find another :)

That's awesome! XD

I'm so torn about which costume to make! I haven't watched the tour DVD yet. Do you have a picture of the patch costume?

Ok! We'll start looking for another member too (trying desperately to convince another friend to join us) but if you find someone who might be interested let me know :)

As for doing some kind of a performance, it might be tricky since we're in different cities, but d'you think you'd wanna try?

I'm game for the performance!

ooohh, and i'm watching the AAA tokyo dome concert right now, and now I really want to do their "right back to you" jedi/samurai outfits, with the lightsabers! haha that was an epic performance.

and here is a link for the costume pictures:

You. Are. Amazing.

I was talking to my friend, and she loves what I assume are the patch costumes (the last two pics). I love them too! Wanna go with those? =D

I'd like to at least give making my costume a shot - if I have trouble maybe I'll ask you for help making a part of it, but I think I can manage! ^^V As for my friend (whose name is Kimmy btw!) she's an amazing seamstress, so I'm pretty sure she'll wanna make hers too.

Ok! So maybe we should all meet on Skype or msn or something some time soon to introduce ourselves and discuss what to do from here? PM me what times are convenient for you, and we'll get things rolling~

BTW thanks a lot for offering to make all the costumes. Seriously so nice of you. =)

and my name is Tara btw, I dont think I actually mentioned that.

next week is pretty busy for me, but I'll let you know when I'm free to chat.
and I need to go to fabricland next week, so I can scope out some good fabrics while I'm there! (do you have fabricland in montreal?)

In typical Quebec fashion we do but it's called something else (Fabricville), lol. If you see anything good, send me the name or a picture and we'll go scope it out at our store! We'll do the same.

The more I look at the patch costumes, the more I love them. Gotta download the DVD and watch the full perf. This is gonna be epic win.

Talk soon!

Don't make the silly mistake that I did of downloading the Dome Tour version, in which they don't wear the outfits. LOL.

If you don't watch it before hand, we can watch it together if we're still on for Saturday night?

Wait wait, I'm kinda confused as to what DVD it's actually on. Is it AAA? Or is their recent stadium tour?

And sure! I didn't get a reply about sat, but if you're good to go we can watch the DVD and make Ohno cookies! Lol, wow, kimmy, we're reaching new fangirl heights. XD Steph would be devastated.

It's from their Scene tour, but apparently they released two versions of it. One from Kokuritsu (which is when they wear the outfits, and their last performance which was in Fukuoka Dome (which is what I downloaded first without knowing).

Hm, I guess my phone just never sent it? =/ Anyway, that sounds good to me! What time is good for you? And lol, let's not mention this to Steph. XD

I finish work at 6, so around 6:30? And my house or yours? Either's convenient for me since I work near you - I can either pick you up or we bake at your place.

I feel like we should be having this discussing on FB. XD
