Do you remember the Chilly Willy song on Woody Woodpecker? Wow, I just noticed how both of those cartoon names could be totally misconstrued as something perverted. Anyway, I remember Kylie Strawser knew it in high school. Ahh..Kylie. Such a freaking funny girl. Hard to take at times but for the most part, a really great friend and acquaintance. Ooh OOh ACHOO!! (that's the end of the song..I think...someone please help me here!)
I just ate "Cheesy Fries" flavored Pringles. Just thinking of this makes my stomach lurch. Probably shouldn't have grabbed the first thing I saw in the cupboard.
I'm sitting in my underwear in BMB's desk chair. BOO YA! Fix my computer, ass!
Joseph's Spa called me twice today to confirm my massage w/ Vic but I don't know if we're still doing it or not b/c she didn't think she'd have enough to get both of us done. Call me Vic! Our appt. is at 3, they said that they'd call you to make sure. :)
Dudes, I'm so dirty. I gotta hold my OWN nose! (<----got that from Linda the LunchLady at The Brown.) I have to tell the whole story now...I wish you guys could all spend 8 hours in a kitchen w/ Linda. Her job is to set up the employee cafeteria...like loading the salad bar, the dessert reach-in, and the steam table. Well, Rebecca, the only person the same age as me that works in the kitchen there, had to go to the bathroom. So she saunters downstairs and settles herself in. Next to her she sees some chef pants and some kitchen birkies on. She assumes it's Linda since she saw the other girls upstairs as she was coming down. Then she hears all these horrible poots and whatnot. She hears some other sounds and she's just about to leave when she hears Linda go 'Ooooh....man that stinks somethin awful! I gotta hold my OWN nose!!" So she runs outta there. Busts up in the hallway. Now, Linda is one hilarious woman. She's kind of intellectually challenged, I don't think she finished high school. She's your best friend and your worst enemy all in one. Just have to step on some thin egg shells around her. I've kind of stopped that practice b/c she's finally warmed up to me in the last umm...8 months I've worked there...sigh. Anyway, she doesn't like it when people set things on her table and so she made a sign that said, 'Linda Table' Yeah, then when we put an apostrophe 's' on the end, she made a new sign that said, 'Linda Table'. I don't think she got it. Then when one of the guys that worked there left a couple weeks ago, he left an empty drawer for whoever wanted, these are highly coveted evidently...you can keep your knife kit, parchment, gas lighter, etc. in there and lock it at night so no one takes your stuff. I have a file cabinet drawer in the pastry shop, I <3 my file drawer. So anyway, she made a sign for that: Linda Drwa...Draw...Now!!!...KNow!!!! Drwa, draw, and now, all crossed out. She couldn't do it. This cracked me up when I got back to the kitchen. I figured I'd get ultra annoyed w/ her right off the bat but she wasn't so bad. Isn't. Whew, just talking about her makes me a little less educated. She's actually pretty cool though.
Yeah, but I"m still holding my own nose so I'ma hit the shower!
