I had an amazing conversation with my best friend. I finally thanked her for all of those times when she stood up for me, backed me up when I was feeling pushed down, and dealt with my eccentric and difficult nature. She made me promise not to disappear again. I've had friends before, but they were never really friends. Out of everyone I've ever known, she's the only one that's stayed. Everyone else abandoned me when my stubborness got the best of me. I never realized I had a best friend until I realized that I have a best friend. She's the best friend I've ever had.

And that... That almost makes me want to do middle school and high school all over again.

Well, almost.

Off to sleep to ponder my new revelations. Off to ponder all of the ways I can never make it up to the world for giving me newfound hope.
