Suddenly, everything about Johto feels different. All of the knowledge she gained from going home...it still feels like she's losing one of her closest friends. Miki was the person she traveled with.
Even with all the other idols...it had to happen now, while she's away from everyone? First Iori and Takane, but this was different. She feels all alone again. Just like when she was waiting in the rain for Hamuzou, just like before she was an idol...she feels like she's the only one here, despite being with a crowd of people for this raid. The Arcanine in her box confirms it,

Sitting on her lap is Takane's Clefairy, and Yuuko the Arcanine is sitting behind her, nuzzling her shoulder. She manages to smile for the video feed, but it's not how she's really feeling. She even has some of her trademark enthusiasm in her message.]
