OOC: 50 Facts about Aeryn
1. Aeryn still mispronounces a ton of words because no one ever corrects how she says them.
2. Out of habit, she still tries to keep reading as a last resort because she finds it embarrassing.
3. She always closes and locks the door behind her when she comes home. Always.
4. If she can't carry a gun, Aeryn is armed with at least one knife at all times. Um, except on school grounds of course.
5. Vampires (save for Angel) still freak her out to this day. Thanks, Drusilla.
6. Aeryn is way more sentimental than she'll ever admit.
7. She does have pierced ears. No, I don't know when she got them, but she has them.
8. Aeryn still has every picture of John as an animal that anyone ever sent her.
9. She sort of feels partly responsible for Anakin turning into Vader, like if she'd smacked him in high school for certain things (that she'd agreed with 100% at the time), that could have changed something.
10. Aeryn kept her last name when she got married with the idea that the baby would have both hers and John's.
11. She pretty much taught herself how to do repair and tech work. She may be more proud of this than anything.
12. She'll always miss the Peacekeepers at least a little.
13. She'll miss Fandom more.
14. She can drive, but never remembers to check her rearview mirrors. She's used to scopes telling her what's behind her.
15. She's still getting used to the fact that John's father doesn't hate her.
16. Aeryn can't think of little D'Argo as her kid, because if she does, she'll regret not keeping him from going through that portal.
17. Aeryn hopes her baby is like wee!Aly.
18. She doesn't think she's going to be happy in any job that's not military.
19. She really does sort of like Jack Harkness, and is sorry she shot him.
20. She wears what seems to be in style so she can fit in, but she'd really rather stick with the black and leather. She does like jeans, though, sometimes.
21. Aeryn tries to wear colors at events like homecoming so people will get off her back about always wearing black.
22. She still gets twitchy when she's been on one planet too long.
23. She'll never cut her hair off because she thinks John might have a heart attack.
24. The keys on her keyboard are rearranged alphabetically. QWERTY makes absolutely no sense to her.
25. She studied every crop of newbies to see who the fighters were. Knowing that Fandom could take care of itself after she left made her feel better.
26. Aeryn is not a cat person. And she likes dogs because she's been around them.
27. She's not comfortable with silence at all. She needs outside noise or the TV on or something, but she thinks Earth is too quiet.
28. She thinks her canon self is an idiot, based on things she's heard.
29. If she were a lesbian, she'd totally go for Callisto. Sorry, Callisto.
30. She says she hates all Earth music, but she secretly digs classic rock.
31. She still feels a little threatened by Lee Adama.
32. And she still misses Cam.
33. She orders by pointing randomly at the menu and showing the waiter/waitress.
34. She really wants to be able to stop pretending she fits in outside of Fandom, but doesn't want John to have to deal with the fallout.
35. That "Tell me how you would feel if anything happened to me" fight still sticks with her.
36. She really misses training people.
37. She misses fighting more.
38. Aeryn will always order a small black coffee.
39. She didn't actually like polar bears much until John kept giving them to her.
40. She still thinks the wedding itself was unnecessary, but she doesn't regret doing it.
41. Being Sebacean means she's going to end up outliving everyone she knows on Earth. She doesn't think about it.
42. Heat delirium still terrifies her. She really would rather die than go that way.
43. She sort of has a theme for procedural dramas.
44. It worries Aeryn sometimes to see how domesticated she's gotten.
45. She wishes sometimes that she could be human.
46. She kind of likes when people are scared of her for no reason.
47. She's had some bad associations with holidays (read: fights). She'll never see Valentine's Day as anything more than the day she was called back.
48. She's relieved they moved on from the Maine idea, because she's not sure she would have liked it.
49. 238 was constantly stocked with aspirin and such, either because everyone kept getting injured, or because John and Angel gave her headaches.
50. The apartment in Cambridge is still stocked with aspirin.
