John wandered in from the bedroom after a short nap, hair messy and eyes still bleary.

There were times Aeryn resembled a normal human eighteen-year-old girl more than others. Considering she was very slightly annoyed that he wasn't playing into her worries, this was one of those times. She shook it off, putting her feet up on the edge of the table. "Did you have better plans?" she wondered.

She almost reminded him that there was a channel devoted to cartoons, but she didn't want to chance having to watch it. "Then why are we doing this again?"
