I'm back from
nefertina86's - the weekend was really great! Met some really nice people and even though I've had better salads and chocolate frappés in my life, I still enjoyed the evening at "La Prison" ^_^
Hope, my sweetie's feeling better cause she caught a cold and by Sunday morning she had lost her voice completely ;-;
We conceived some pretty good ideas though for that little thingy I'm planning on participating! Gosh, I wanna win this thing SO HARD T____T!!! More details on that in September...
Sunday afternoon I met up with Sahne and Markus to finally see "Inception"... you know me... I'm not the mainstream type... which doesn't mean that I don't like some mainstream movies / bands / songs / shows / whatevers... but I'm not like "Oh, everyone says it's good, so I think it's good, too" - neither I am always against mainstream stuff - I watched "Twilight" and I still think it is the worst movie ever (and yes, that includes "Stonehenge Apocalypse" XDDD)!!!
But Inception... wow... this is some crazy shit!!! Srsly, I have NEVER experienced a movie like this before! I was sitting in my chair, trembling, shivering, holding my breath, thinking "Oh my God, they can't be serious about this" all the time!! And the end... whoa... sweet holy mother of Jesus fucking Christ... DUH!!!
Okay, everyone who hasn't seen the movie, stop reading here cause here come my guesses on the ending:
We see the spinning top rotating while Cobb hurries over to finally enfold's his children in his arms. Then the screen fades to black.
Possibility 1
The spinning top keeps on rotating, which means that Cobb is still dreaming. We never saw what him and Saito did in the limbo. Did they shoot each other? If yes, does that automatically mean that they woke up in time? But how? Didn't Cobb say, that you can't leave the limbo by dying? But how did Ariadne leave? She fell off the building and woke up on the 3rd dream stage.
Possibility 2
The spinning top is shaking moments before the screen turns black, which could mean that it will stop seconds later. This would mean that Cobb woke up. He and Saito somehow managed to return from the limbo and he can finally be with his children again.
Possibility 3 (which is actually very vague but I still wanna share it)
The spinning top keeps on rotating, which would normally mean that Cobb is still dreaming. BUT the spinning top has been Mal's totem... thanks to Cobb's inception she was convinced that her reality was in fact a dream. So if the spinning top keeps on rotating this could mean that Cobb woke up, cause only the totem "thinks" that this is still a dream... of course that'd mean that the totem was somehow jinxed to never stop rotating but I dunno... I kinda really like the idea...
So, what do you think about it? Any other theories? What's your opinion?
I think Cobb woke up. I really, really hope he did!
And I KNOW that I will watch this movie again - and that I'm gonna buy it on DVD as soon as it comes out (plus Making Of, please :D)
Later I'm meeting up with Sahne and Markus again, having dinner (salad nizza ♥), doing some shopping at IKEA and showing them my flat! Looking forward to it (and it's feta for lunch!! OMFGCAN'TWAIT!!!)
