Nostalgia
Wow. I was checking out used synths on eBay, and I ran across this auction:

I used to have one of these as a kid - my grand-dad bought it in Malaysia, I think. Crazy little machine. It had five different sounds and five different drums - all of them variations on "bleep". It also had a "hidden sound", more like a "bip", which could only be accessed by accident by dropping the thing, replacing the batteries, and fiddling around with the controls... =P
I always wondered what happened to that little keyboard. Almost considering buying one for sheer nostalgia value ;) Admittedly, if I let this one go, there's already an auction for another one further up the eBay listing, so they're not exactly rare.
