Laptop adaptor - still not here!

Emailed the online shop which sold me my replacement laptop adaptor to ask them when they were going to ship the damn thing. It's been half a month since they emailed me to say they're received my return (I bought one, it was the wrong polarity, so I returned it) and that they would be able to ship one in a few days. More than a month, I think, since I've been able to use my laptop.

Luckily, I have Neko - and I think I'd go insane without that, since Nate's pretty much taken over my desktop for artwork purposes - but Neko is seriously underpowered for anything involving using many graphical programs (konqueror and kwrite in my case) at once, and it can't run any of the software I'm meant to be selling.

I also need to sort out Uni stuff - this year I'm transitioning from CES two years ago, through last year's voluntary suspension, to 3rd year Computer Science, and I have no idea how I'm meant to handle registration and electives and such. The online registration appears to have me down as 4th year CS...

Last Saturday's SURGe British comedy film night was rather awesome - mostly because the atmosphere was more house-party-esque, with lots of chat: I tend to watch five minutes of a comedy then get bored or distracted. Ended up going home early (early being about 9am, after having arrived at noon the previous day - others stayed til 1pm-ish) because both Nate and I were pretty tired.

Can't believe it's Saturday tomorrow again - the lack of sleep threw me off for several days. This time we're heading up to Dundee at the end of the night for a week.

SURGe in general is being pretty good. The Exalted game is really getting into its swing, now that we've all had a chance to see what works and doesn't work, and re-jig our characters. I think I'm getting somewhat obsessed... ^^;
