I wanted to extend a THANK YOU to all of you for being supportive, inspiring, or both... in my life. I have some great news to share: I booked my first television Series Regular today! I will be a new character on the upcoming season of UPN's sitcom "One on One." For those of you who haven't seen the show yet, it is entering its fifth year and also has a spinoff series called "Cuts" starring Shannon Elizabeth. I will be playing the daughter's (Kyla Pratt) new NON-stereotypically Asian college roommate and friend. I am extremely proud to be a part of this show as it has a fine team behind it - Greenblatt/Janollari Studios (Six Feet Under) executive produce this program, and the show's creator Eunetta T. Boone, is a successful woman of color, I am grateful to be in her hands.
This is a new journey I am embarking on. I am quite excited and intimidated all at once! We start work this week, so things are changing rapidly. From those of you who have been holding my hand since I was a wee 8th grader admiring Claire Danes on MSCL or competing in high school Drama festivals, to those of you whom I've just worked with recently...
