3 Dialogue Only Drabbles
I wrote three dialogue only fics for stargateland
It was my first challenge! I'm kinda excited about that one.
Earth Food (SGA 180 words)
"You know what I miss about Earth Food?"
"No, what is it that you miss?"
"It's familiar. We don't have to figure out what tastes like what here, it tastes like what we're familiar with."
"So, it is a comfort to you then?"
"Exactly. There's something comforting in the familiar. But I brought this up... Look, I know you're missing it. That you wish things were going faster. But I thought maybe you'd like to know... I also miss Athosian food."
"---"
"Sorry. I guess... I don't know if that came out right."
"Thank you. It means very much to me that you do."

Worry (SG-1 80 words)
"I'm concerned."
"You're 'Concerned'?"
"Yes. I'm concerned about Cameron."
"He's fine, I'm sure."
"Frank. He's more quiet than I've seen him."
"He's got a lot on his mind. He'll be alright. Cam takes after you."

"Wendy, he'll be fine. Don't fret. He's a good man. We raised him up right."
"I love you, Frank. You're right. But he's my first born."
"I know. I love you too. Cam will be alright. He has his Momma's strength."

Hockey (SGU 141 Words)
"So what is it that you miss most?"
"Hockey. I have a running bet with a friend every season. Sharks are going to win."
"Have they?"
"No. But that doesn't matter. They will. Thornton is a good Captain even if they do seem to mess it up. Like every playoff."
"What about the other teams?"
"I'm a Sharks fan. But I have to admit Patrick Kane is a good player."
"Who?"
"You really want to know?"
"I have to admit some curiosity."
"Maybe later. But I don't know. Maybe it's time one of the actual Canadian teams got the cup. Then the Sharks. But never the Ducks. I'm still bitter about Selanne."
"The Ducks are bad, Canadian teams are ok and the Sharks are number one?"
"Now you're getting it."
"Actually no, but we can pretend."
"That's the spirit!"
