(no subject)
so funny story: i was sitting around watching tv with my mom and sister and Lauren, like usual was being obnoxious and like singing/screaming or something...idk..i tend to tune her out whenever possible. Anyway, she chokes on her spit and starts coughing, but shut up, and my mom was like omg, God really does answer prayers! I about died.
Anyway, the rest of this week went pretty well - work everyday, then practicing bluegrass with the guys. The gig went well too, not as many people as I hoped or expected, but still fun. James has gotten me on a scary movie kick. I don't watch horror movies often, but if I'm with a group and have nothing better to do, then why not. Thursday night me, him and AJ watched the Shining. It was insane. Not so much scary as just freaky. It was funny though, all 3 of us were yelling at the tv, telling the people what to do, we were flippin out. THEN I had to drive home alone in the dark and everyone here was already asleep so I was scared. But I got over it, and didnt even have nightmares! So after the gig I was feeling up for another movie so me, james, adam, mandy, cameron, and shelton went back to the house of doom and watched Secret Window. It was supposed to be scary I think but wasn't. I didn't care for it very much..the end was definitely surprising but just wasnt very good overall.
I worked pretty much all day yesterday, 8-6something, came home, ate some awesome spaghetti, then crashed on the couch. I was exhausted so I slept really well last night. Worked again today, seemed like people were particularly hateful for some reason. I was like jeez, it's Sunday, go to church and be nice! We had steaks for dinner tonight, yum! My grandma came over so that was cool too I guess. Now I should be packing, but I get distracted really easily so thats not quite done yet. I leave tomorrow for a leadership conference thing at Mars Hill. It'll be me, Jared, Jessica Watts, and Mrs Townsend - sure to be an interesting trip to say the least. We come back Friday, then I'm back to work next weekend, fun fun. Oh well, thats about it for tonight I suppose - later taters!
