So I'm supposed to leave right now but the phone is still charging. My point is that we should just go back to telegrams. Ever since cell phones became the norm, I can't leave without it because I will get stranded somewhere. Or get kidnapped.
People who used telegrams did not worry when these things happened. They said "whoops, looks like I'm stuck here and I need to go somewhere else. I guess I'll walk because that's how I was getting there anyway."
