Oh, that dream. ♥ Wonderful and beautiful. It's sad the show never exploited the parallels between Sha're and Vala being hosts and both being importanat to Daniel. Or even Sam and Vala for that matter.

If there'd been a Season 11, would the writers have explored the parallels between Sha're, Vala & Sam? Eh, maybe not. They liked explosions better.

Sadly, I agree. OR they would touch on the subject, but very briefly or in a very superficial way that you had to complete with your own imagination and/or fic. Like they always did with these ~emotional scenes/episodes.

An episode with scenes like in 'Cold Lazarus' or 'Need' seem impossible in the last few seasons.

I would put 'Grace' as an exception that only confirms the rule.

Or maybe I remember it wrong. :D

I haven't seen "Grace" yet (I have Seasons 4-8 to catch up with in my viewing) but you're right; Season 10 in particular had episodes with plotlines so busy that they really needed 2 or 3 episodes to fully develop the events.

When I first saw Ark of Truth, I could barely process everything happening in it; events flew by SO FAST.

Grace is one of those VERY rare character episodes. And it's all about Sam. Practically has only her in the entire 42 minutes of the ep. Definitely ~different from what SG usually does.

LOL yeah, they really packed everything in it. The Ancients, the Ori, the replicators, the terminator, angst, drama, comedy, space battles, character development, etc etc etc... gives you a whiplash. :D
