walk, tattoo, walk, drive, movie, sleep, no sleep
not a typical saturday but a good one none the less.
i was up by 8 and i took some time to watch some cartoons and shower. i then headed downtown because it was already sunny and hot. i got a cup of iced coffee and caught up with a little reading.
i then went to tsunami tattoo and met phuc and starting talking about my tattoo design. he was really laid back and seemed to have a good vibe. i looked through his portfolio which was far more extensive than his website. we had a good chat about things. we left it that i was going to email him some pictures to help express my ideas and then he would come up with some sketches. he is only about two blocks away so i can pop in as he progresses. i may be getting ink in as little as two weeks.
i then continued with my day by wandering. i spend about the next 4 hours walking around portland. granted i stopped here and there... and ran into a couple people i knew, but for the most part i was just walking, watching people, and getting as much sun as possible.
later i caught up with a friend and played a couple games of chess. this evening i went for a drive and then came home and watched a movie.
right now i am back up. i tried to sleep for about and hour but it didn't take. i'm somewhat sore and sunburned. its also pretty muggy in here. i love it when its hot and sticky, but not when i'm trying to sleep. i'd get ac, but my landlords use it as a way to levy another fee.
