i wish i had something to get dressed up for

i was at the mall this afternoon with my friend marc. we ended up in macys looking for dress shirts for him. due to the horrible selection we wandered into their suit area which was acutally really nice. we started looking around and even trying a few on. i was very surprised at how they fit me. about a year ago when i was in running for (aka 146 lbs of bones) i wore a 38R... the first suitcoat i tried on was a 40R and it was way too small for me, very tight in the shoulders. marc then gave me a 42R and it fit like a glove... and he said my shoulders really filled it out well. i looked in the mirror and i immediately wanted to buy it. but $300 for something i'd never wear?! i had a double breasted suit and a tuxedo before. i sold them last year when i made the move to this apartment. maybe i'm just in the "reclaiming" mode... but it dont think so. i think i want a reason to get dressed up. i miss getting all spiffied-up and going out for dinner now and then. hurumph.

looks like i'll be going to see unleashed later tonight. jet li always makes everything better. =)
