Hey, you got a reason and it's in keeping with the rules, s'all good!

The 'LJ outage' joke grated on me a bit, because it's getting a bit too meta for me. Sure, we've had similar jokes worked into apps before, but they're usually connected to a character's quirk in some way. Rinoa's voice also seemed a bit too ridiculously perky/naive to me, but I discounted that because a) it matched the canon and b) I don't remember the game that well, anyway.

I think the main issue with the app was getting in some more original humor? I don't know. It seemed like most of the rest of it was focused on comparing Squal to the zombies, and...yeah. I fail at crit tonight.

Ah, thanks a lot for the crit, it helps a lot :)

I'm not a really big fan of meta (especially after a course in Shakespeare), but I was going off the slight ambiguity that CFUD has in its posts. It seems most of the posts are sort of action style (or implied action), but then there are some posts and comments that are specifically stated to be typed. I've also seen a few instances where characters were able to read the usernames of others (for example, when Light pointed out Ishida's screenname when Light first arrived).

I guess the ambiguity wasn't something to bank my application on, and thank you for pointing it out.

That's true, and you know what? I think you really do have a strong enough voice and awareness of her character, even if the jokes weren't quite to my taste. IN.

I couldn't get a strong voice from the app, and the jokes were all the kind I'd seen before, and thus the app just...didn't do it for me. That's basically it.
