Back permanently... well, for now.

Aug 19, 2005 17:07

I return from my training period in the woods for now, and as such require my bed back. Has anyone been using it?

...I'm glad I missed the marriage thing.

I need to speak with you ASAP. And also give you the various warnings about this place. What do you know so far?

All I know so far is that fruit is bad, baked goods are bad, and there are no laundry facilities. And apparently, everyone is married to everyone else.

Alright. Be careful of the lake; the tentacle monster rapes everything that gets close enough for it to grab. The same for the gorillas and goats. On that note, never ever be late for breakfast, or the gorillas and goats will attack you in force. This is supported by the Camp Director.

The toucans are psychic and potentially dangerous; and my computer is running out of battery power, I need to go recharge. I'll continue when I can.

((For real! Sorry, I'll be back as soon as I can.))

Right. Avoid the lake, be on time for breakfast even though nothing's edible... I thought the "psychic toucan" thing was a joke.

It's not, and they apparently have a mafia.

... avoid the network of magical pools. They can change you into a girl, or a platypus, or, well, a variety of things. And either hot or cold water will change you back, but the reverse will trigger the transformation again.

Er, you should probably be careful around me, too. I don't think I'm still contagious, but I caught the genderswitching thing awhile back... and if I relapse, you should try to not have contact with me.

I think that's it. I could be forgetting something, or well, someone, but if more information is necessary, go ahead and ask.

... now, onto the other issue - were you sent here, like I was, or did you find this place accidentally?

Psychic toucan mafia, magical pools. Roger. Since all the water's been turned to blood, I'm not inclined to go near any lakes or pools anyway, but I'll bear that in mind.

...

You had a gender-switching virus?

And I was sent here to look for you. There'd been no word from you since you got here, and certain parties were concerned.

Yes, there was a genderswitching virus, a 'chibi' virus, and an animal virus. I was not around for the latter two, but the first I was unfortunate enough to catch. The cure is violence or being groped. And violence did not work in my case. I suggest you avoid all of the viruses if you possibly can.

I sent a couple emails at the beginning of my stay... I suppose the Camp Director has those channels blocked as well as the physical ones. I assumed that regular mail wouldn't work with the force-field up.

Who would those 'certain parties' be, exactly? And was Commander Une... stable, the last time you saw her?

The cure...

...not asking.

Nobody outside the camp had received word from you since the last message stating that you were nearing the property. Certain parties, namely your comrades, were concerned when the communication ceased, since you normally report on a regular basis. I came here to ascertain your situation and assist in the investigation if you require it.

The Commander was... not entirely herself, last time I saw her. Let's leave it at that.

... we're looking for a murderer. We have no clues, or crime scene (as far as I can tell), or anything else that could have been of assistance. We won't be permitted to leave until we find the killer.

I'm concerned about the Commander's state of mind - is she, in your opinion, unstable enough to try to bring back Khushrenada? Because I've seen zombies who were basically normal (except for an appetite for brains).

And I'm sure, if the Camp Director can bring the dead back, that she could clone a person from the "original" remains. Should there be any...

Your assessment?

...the idea of bringing Khushrenada back...

I'm not sure they'd have enough material to work with, but I wouldn't put it past either of them to try.

I haven't heard or seen anything that shows that the Camp Director may be assisting Une... but the fact that I was sent, by her orders (which I received from her directly, face-to-face)... well. Any ideas on what to do? There are some underground labs we could check, I suppose, although some very strange things are down there. Such as a 'male pregnancy button', or so I've heard - and one of the male campers just got pregnant. From slap on the ass.

...has anyone actually seen the Camp Director face-to-face?

I think our course of action should be to investigate the underground labs, and leave it to Sagara Sousuke search the cabins. He seems to be a capable soldier. I think we can rely on him.

I don't think so. Perhaps Miss Ying?

... alright. Some campers have gone there - we should gather as much information as we can before we try to get in, I think, and this Sagara Sousuke will have to take care of the cabins. We'll need someone to search the girls' cabins - we'd be chased away by the gorillas, males are generally not permitted near there. I suggest Buffy Summers (Vampire Slayer) or Miss Ying (who seems to be fairly competent) for that.
