[Today in one of the drier sections of Camp is a young girl staring up at a tree. You may wonder why until you notice the dozen or so stray cats that appear to be grouped near the top, avoiding any flooding. If you happen to pass by, you're more than likely to be roped into helping her with a rescue mission

[You promptly do the WINDY THING, lifting yourself off the ground to hover next to the branches of the tree.]

[You attempt to lift one of the cats out of the tree with your wind powers, but it doesn't like that at all, yowling and flailing in a panic. You laugh sheepishly and let it back onto its branch.]

better just carry them down by hand.

A barn? These ones don't have owners.

really? aww, poor things.
we'll just have to find them the best barn in camp!

The driest one. And I'm going to find them a crate that'll float. Then they'll be extra safe.

and we can check back on them if the water gets bad, of course.
c'mon, little guys, back down to earth...

[You carefully coax the now-calmer kitten into your arms. It kneads its claws against your arm a little, but soon settles in.]

[You hover back down to the ground, gingerly prying the cat's paw away from your tender flesh.]

yeah, just fine!
he didn't wanna come down at first, is all.

[reaching for the cat]

Is he still afraid? He shouldn't be. We're rescuing him!

[You pass the kitten to Vanya, and it settles down peacefully in her arms.]

he is probably just confused!
camp is a complicated place for a little cat like him.
and i did try to pick him up with my wind powers at first.

Can you pick up other people with your powers?

sure can!
and i can lift a lot more than that, actually.
i used it to fly with my friend the mayor in a car once!
