It was a graveyard smash!
[Tonight, the Mess Hall has been transformed into what pretty much looks like a middle school Halloween dance -- there are streamers and fake spiderwebs hanging everywhere, a smoke machine, a few small strobe lights, and decorated tables complete with bowls of candy, treats, (possibly spiked) fruit punch, and fake plastic spider rings. Just about every other song played through the loudspeaker system is The Monster Mash. But, hey! Sweets.
Those who came without costumes might suddenly find themselves in a more festive outfit once they pass through the front doors.]
