Excuse me, if I could have your attention for a moment.
I'm Detective Shirogane; I have been a resident of Camp for over two years now, and I would like to issue a brief important message.
As most of you know, next weekend is the beginning of the month of October. During this time, it is highly likely that, as part of Camp's "seasonal mood", the overall environment will become unsafe for many people. In the past, a variety of incidents have occurred--monsters that are otherwise uncommon have attacked Campers and Counselors alike; certain strains of viruses that cause confusion, hallucinations, and mutations have infected people; as well as grisly murders and disappearances. I myself experienced such a case during my first October here, so please do not dismiss the possibilities.
It is with this in mind that I would like to encourage everyone to take caution, and if possible to not travel alone--if you have a friend that would not mind accompanying you to the Mess Hall, for example, that would be optimal. It is especially imperative to not be isolated at night. If you do not have anyone who can accompany you, please speak to me and I will try to pair you up with someone. On that same note, if anyone would like to volunteer as an escort or bodyguard, please let me know--you will have my gratitude.
Regardless of whether or not you find this advice helpful, I have amassed a large amount of candles and matches for anyone who is still without power, or would like to be prepared in the future. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to voice them. Thank you.
[this message is also typed and sent out to every email in Camp, and a large basket of candlesticks and matchboxes are sitting in the Center of Camp--there should be plenty for everyone]
((feeling kind of blegh, will be slow ETA: ugh, hate to flake out on this post so early, but I am not feeling well :( I will pick up tomorrow!))
