Hi. I'm Ronan. For those who don't know me, I've been here a while. To the newcomers, you may have heard that we had a dinosaur with a hat and a rack - this is unfortunately true, and could the people who keep thinking about it please stop I don't want to know that about you. Ever. The second thing you may have heard is that there's a planet eating horror outside the barrier and it wants in. This is ... also unfortunately true. I call it Harry.
What you don't know is that two weeks ago Charlotte and I were involved in fixing the barrier so that we didn't all die two weeks ago. It's held up for now but anyone who is more sensitive than a brick has probably worked out that it is all kinds of messed up. We did our best, and to hell with anyone who says otherwise. The point is, we have six months to get the thing working properly before what Charlotte and I did collapses, we all die, and so does everyone else.
What I need right now are people who can help reinforce the damn thing. Science? Sure. Magic? Sure. Ancient rituals passed down from your grandfather's unicorn? I don't care. If it helps, it helps. Unless you just want to hit the barrier with a sword. Then you aren't going to be that useful yet. So yeah. Just tell me what you can do, and how you can help.
Also, God I hate public speaking. How do people do this all the time?
