You are in Florence, Italy in 1476 suddenly, though it still flickers every now and again to remind you that there is something not quite right about it.
A strange wall of code is blocking your entry to most of the buildings. In the distance, you can see a flickering light. And if you look in the other direction, there is a vendor, a doctor wearing his mask for the plague

[the scene shifts again, flashing through other cities, before stablizing back in Florence. This time, though, you are at a bridge. On one side of the bridge is Ezio and his friends, on the other, a surly boy. They look to be having a confrontation]
