itp: out of season ... candy pit?

[at the center of camp today, there is something that looks like a ball pit, but instead of it being filled to the brim with balls, there are smaller objects: jelly beans. they're of a wide variety of colors (and tastes) and a boy with black hair and glasses just successfully yanked himself out of it

It is. But I was in the centre of it. That might be a problem.

It looks kind of fun... um, unless it was really scary.

Did Camp just put you here? Is that how you got to come back? You were just visiting before, right?

It wasn't all that bad.

I've been back around a week or so, actually. It's nearing that, anyway.

Are you glad you got to come back? It seems like a lot of people are this time.

I haven't entirely decided yet. I'm not sure I'm glad, but I'm definitely not unhappy about it.

That's good. I want people to come back, but not if they're unhappy about it.

I'd like to say this place is just temporary, but I know that's not true of everyone.

Some people have been here a really long time. I've been here almost two years.

And I treated it that way before and look at me now. I'll bet I'll be here a long time.

Don't worry. It's not that bad. Scary things happen sometimes and it's always sad when your friends leave, but it's a lot better than most places. I really like it here.

Monsters and bad people. October's really bad, too.

The month of Hallowe'en. That makes sense.
