By now, you all probably know that we're preparing for something on the 19th. Something big. I'm not completely sure what's coming, but judging by the story so far, we should be preparing for something serious ( Read more... )

I have a couple of theories, if you don't mind me sharing.

There was the tear back in May. My strongest hunch is that where the readings are coming from, the tears are bound to happen again.

That, or what's coming with the end of the countdown has to do with those spots and drawing energy from them, but I can't say for sure. But obviously, there's a reason why they were pointed out, and I would say they stand as a warning. With the idea of barrier = no, that seems to strengthen my theory.

Then again, I'm hesitant to say anything for sure.

No one knows anything for sure. But those both sound plausible enough.

Can you give me any more information on the tears? I wasn't here for those, so all I have to go on is what other people tell me.

It happened quickly. When people looked up, they saw the tear, and instead of seeing what you might expect outside-miles and miles of cornfields-there was space. It got fixed up and no one knew why, but the carnival people have confirmed themselves that someone on the staff did it. Charlotte. It makes sense, too-apparently she's like a spider in her ... truer nature. But she was tired for a while after that. That's what makes this all suspect. If the barrier is going down, she won't be able to pull it back together on her own.

Okay, I went back over my email transcripts. Countdown is related to the "wibbly wobbly window." I guess that ties things together.
