[today in the Library, a perfectly fine gentleman with nice hair and a perfectly fine lady with terrible hair are in the middle of a most important lesson!]
You need to keep in mind that even if it's the same type of flower, the meaning changes entirely if it's a specific color. Take this one for example- [pointing a picture in the book] this is a Camellia. A pink one would let the person you're giving it to that you're longing for them, but a white one would tell them "you're adorable". And again, a red one would let them know your heart is burning for them.

And this is a Petunia. It can mean resentment and anger, so I wouldn't advise you to ever give it to a girl.
