*Did things just get dimmer? Or maybe the atmosphere just became oppressive? At least in the vicinity of this particular barn. Out of nowhere, bad memories, insecurities, or a sudden case of the sads might be trying to bubble up

[on a corner of the barn roof, there's an albino human* sitting there with the square corner jutting between his legs, and a leg on either side of it, draping down. The strangest part is that he's holding the hand grip of a modernistic walking cane with one hand. Makes you wonder how the hell someone who needs it got up there on his own. Anyway, he leans forward just a bit, mulling over his newest memories... ones he didn't particularly want but is now stuck with.]
Tch.
[*human at first sense, but underneath all that there's the faintest sense of something... divine? Probably due to him being an artificial angel. SCIENCE IS AWESOME.]

[there's a prickle at the back of his neck, maybe a faint trembling of his fingers he only gets when Disguise Boy's trying to sneak up on him, but it's enough for him to swiftly reach for the electrode on his choker. A small click, and a small green light turns to red.
He waits patiently, the tension in his shoulders easing now.]
[blank stare. With his Redirection up, the... person's sensing of him may feel a tad duller than earlier, on the muted side, but he's still pretty clearly radiating an aura of a villain aching for the light, someone with his own set of standards, who just learned a month's worth of dangerous and at times heart-wrenching happenings back home. there are just some things that vector filters can't block.]

One fears it is in one's nature.

You certainly don't sound repentant about it.
