[A girl in a housekeeping uniform is sitting miserably at a table outside the mess hall. If you take a closer look, there's a sign propped up on the table. It says:

- laundry
- cooking

*one-time payment of a single pair of size 6 sneakers is humbly requested, but not required
She looks over at you and sighs.]
I can't leave until someone hires me.
