De Director's a crazy lady who thought dat de people here might've killed her fiance, and so she imprisoned us here so dat she could try to figure it out. Except her fiance's alive and it's a lot more complicated dan it looks. You'd probably want to ask around for someone who knows more about dat, since I don't know much.

But she's got de power to drag us here from a whole lotta different worlds, even if we're dead. Like, I'm an AI from a pretty different world from most others, but dere's a lot of people from a lot of really different places, ja?
