[This lovely afternoon, in the Mess Hall there is a bearded man dressed in red. He looks a hell of a lot like Santa and he seems to have candy. Kind of. The glasses might be overdoing it, but that aside he looks pretty believable. Especially if you're young.

Why, you're never too old for a pony. Or perhaps, it's because I'm old that I need a pony. I'll ride it through the streets when I've finally become incapacitated. How else will I hand out indulgences?
