She's learning.

She's been having difficulty playing and singing at the same time. It can be problematic.

[looks down at her guitar strings.]

... ah. It can be difficult initially when learning the chords. Once it becomes second nature, singing and playing shouldn't be as much of an issue.

[considers that for a moment, and then nods.]

That's understandable. The same theory does apply to the piano - it takes time to learn the keys and become comfortable with them before you can move on and add more into the mix. Point taken.

I do. I'm more of a singer, though.

[catches that! and waves a hand.]

Yui's been trying to form a band, and she ended up recruiting me. In exchange, she's lending her vocals to our glee club. It works out rather nicely.

A club ... ?

[boldstarring]

Glee club. We perform - singing and dancing, although we sometimes accompany our own numbers since live instrumentation is vastly preferable to backing tracks.
