[There is an assassin traipsing about the rooftops yet again today... Upon closer inspection, he seems to be collecting feathers.]

Oh! The kuroko are people who help my comrades and I ... well, do just about anything. But, what I was saying is that usually they help keep people who don't belong in battles away from them.

I've never heard of them. I usually rely on people to run away when something happens that doesn't concern them.

Well, some people panic or don't know what to do. Especially when an Ayakashi appears, it can be scary. The kuroko help those people and that helps us because there are fewer people to worry about getting hurt while we take care of it.
