((basically, he's trying to change this reality so that he was the one born here, he's the one with the 'cushy' job and the friends and the influence, he's the one who isn't afraid every second of every day that someone will try to kill him))
((but to do that, he has to set up this big machine on the outskirts of camp......... and those who've come to interrupt him have been knocked out, tied up, or both.))
(reality is also shifting around him, so as you get closer, you might find that you suddenly have a brother, or you don't remember your best friend, or puns are suddenly unfunny, or you have an evil goatee of evil [TM]; feel free to be captured, try to rescue those who're captured, try to talk him out of doing this keerazy stuff, try to find out where original McCoy is, or just be turned into some kind of unicorn which farts double rainbows, whatever you like basically)
