October's already struck. Computer screens trapped some people in an underground crypt. The only way out was to fill a hole with twenty-two pints of blood. You can see how that turned out.

... Bandaging and rest then- blood donations for those too worn out. Either they're trying to wear us down or they will use the blood somehow...

At any rate- is anyone in critical condition and in need of immediate transportation?

The blood was just because the key was in the hole, attached to a cork.

Definitely that guy. None of 'em are going to die from blood loss, but a few looked woozy from it.

There was a strange talking statue with extra arms. Other than that, no.

You said it spoke. Male or female voice? And did it seem to have a sort of 'circus'-like theme to it? Strange music or clothing?

Male, wearing a hooded cloak, and no music. I can sketch it out if you have paper on you.

[with a pen he sketches out a sideview of the statue. A man with three sets of arms; one set covering his face, one set in inverted prayer, one set doing cat's cradle/jacob's ladder.]

These arms- [draws arrows to the ones doing cat's cradle] -moved from this to this- [more notes scribbled down] -and the lips never moved even when he spoke. He talked about choices and "a penny for your thoughts, a key for your blood, twenty-two pints ought to do it." Something like that.

Did he give anyone a penny? If they gave him their thoughts, I mean.

Not that I recall. I think the guy was just being cryptic and annoying.

There have been an increase in events this Halloween- most of them seem unconnected, or if they do have something in common we have yet to discover this. I will add this to the rest of the notes: do please contact us again if some kind of follow-up attack happens, or if you run into another monster.

Are there any that do seem connected? On top of that, what do you know about the vampires? I heard that October might be having an effect on them this year.

... What I have heard is that an earlier event, very far back in camps history resulted in a sudden outbreak of vampire attacks: several victims came in the cases of vampires and those who fought them, beaten to a pulp. They seemed to suddenly turn very aggressive and attack people, but... that was all. No explanation was given.

Beyond that, we have mostly had people injured by monster attacks recently- if there is something else going on, it's... too subtle to pick up at the moment.
