[The lights in the mess hall are dimmer than you remember... and how strange, was there a closet in here before? Either way, one of its doors are opened a peek, the inside pitch black. That alone wouldn't be cause for investigation, but there's something compelling about it that warrants curiosity-- perhaps it is just that it seems like a good hiding place for a child during hide-and-seek, and the door was left open a crack? In fact, if you listen closely, isn't there the faint sound of someone breathing?]
