Oh no, it's nothing like that. Dragons need to release fire at select intervals to control our descent, in order to close the valves providing the main lift. But I was sure to release most of it before coming too close to the field. Anyway, I am terribly sorry for the trouble.

Well, I wouldn't really call it a curse. I've always found dragons to be amazing subjects. Meeting them was one of the greatest moments of my life! But we are merged until we can figure out how to undo it.
