[Tonight outside of the mess hall, on some overturned barrels and bails of hay, there seem to be a plethora of cats. And cat-shaped streamers. And cardboard cat cut-outs. And plates and cups and party hats like this.

There is also a crudely-fashioned birthday cake, decorated with cat toys, that reads:
