[At the Cat's Eye Café today there is a cake! A large cake! A large cake that looks suspiciously like it was designed to have a person hiding inside of it. There is also a teenage boy circling it in a likewise suspicious manner. Why? Because written on the side of the cake in bright letters is:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDA MASAOMI-KUN~!He still doesn't ( Read more... )

[Popping out of the cake]

My most sincere apologies, Kida-kun. While I may be super-sexy and super-friendly, I'm afraid I cannot make all your teenaged birthday dreams come true. As a taken woman, there's only so much I can do.

[CONSIDERS]

... It could have been worse. Are you going to do a dance at least?

Ah, it doesn't sound very complimentary that way. And I was so willing to do a striptease up to that point.

It's cruel to tease the birthday boy like that, Senjougahara-san.

And it's cruel to insult a lovely young girl who very rarely commits such acts of kindness.

That would make us square, wouldn't it?

But there's supposed to be a super-sexy girl to do a super-sexy dance for me in the cake! One step closer to manhood, one gentle tease of the fruits that await me as I change from boy to man!

Ahh, but don't forget, too much teasing with such fruits may lead to pain in the nuts.

Or so I've heard.

This is just about the opposite of a super-sexy dance.

Unfortunately, that's all I've prepared on such short notice.

I don't make a habit of popping out of birthday cakes, you know. So be thankful.

At least it wasn't a zombie.

So what flavor are you besides tsundere?

I should hope I'm preferable to a zombie. Please don't waste your breath with obvious statements, or I'll have to stop you from breathing altogether.

I would think tsundere is the best flavor.

It depends on how much tsun and how much dere is used!

If the formula is tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsun tsun, then it's five parts tsun to two parts dere.

But a higher quantity of dere usually tastes better.

Ah, but if one is too liberal with the dere, it causes their overall sweetness to diminish.

The appeal of the tsundere is that her dere side is hidden beneath the layers of tsun, making those who experience it savor it all the more.

But a birthday should be a special day, so there should be at least equal amounts of tsun and dere, just this once.
