Chapter 2: Tonberry Cook-King (the Courage of Fire)
[In the library, a new entry has appeared in the storybook:]
Jack Moschet was a gigas, and as such used to the cold. But one day his wife said 'Jack, you are too cold! Get out of my bed until you learn to be warm!' (His wife was a lamia, you see. They are not known for their metabolisms).
So Jack called his tonberry chef and asked that it make him the spiciest dish that it could.
But the tonberry, being a tonberry, chose to make slow-cooked chili ...
[Meanwhile, the mist lies heavy over the Mess Hall. Inside it feels like a sauna! A large, hairy, purple beast occupies one of the tables, banging on it with his fist impatiently. He roars:]
"FEE FI FO FUM! I WON'T LEAVE UNTIL MY CHILI IS DONE!"
[Perhaps you should see to the kitchen and find out what can be done about that.]
