[in the Crypt cabin, Kuchiha is currently curled up on her bed. the beading of the sweat from...fever? probably doesn't bode well for her current condition.]

[ssslowly reaching for her sword]

[the only response are scratches coming from below the floor]

[considering how heavy that floor is, that's not a good sign. picking up her sword by the sheathe and standing up, slowly.]

[the sound of rattling chains gets more distant; it definitely sounds as though there is some sort of chamber below.]

[growls, softly as she instinctively sniffs the air and stands. what's out there tonight?]

[Something big, angry, and dead. There are no entrances to the catacombs below you from your cabin, however.]

[debates with herself silently for a few moments, then pads to the door, slipping on her shoes and her sword into her overskirt as she goes.

she opens the door a crack, looks outside, then steps down.]

[You seem to have acquired a large gopher in your yard, as there is now a hole about 60 feet from your doorway.]

[like hell I have. stalking forward, to kneel and examine the hole.]

Oi, why don't you get out of mine?

[draws her sword and jumps into the hole]

[The fading light of the evening filters through the hole above. You're now standing in a square chamber. There are two exits: one straight ahead of you, and one to your right.

A moogle stands in one corner of the room, in the other there is an overturned terracotta pot.]

[glancing at the moogle and the pot, before going to the left]

[You enter a narrow, curving hallway.

To your right, the words THEY HAVE SEEN MY FACE are scratched into the wall.]
