Right. [taps his knuckles on the showerpipe] And with as often as these things spit out blood, soap is a pretty precious commodity around here.

Oh wow, really? Hey, lucky you then. Yeah, every so often these things decide they're gonna put out blood, instead of water. It... gets pretty nasty around here, those days.

Woah, uh... are you okay there? I'm sorry, but there's not really any more of a pattern to it than anything else around here. Well, excluding the soup on tuesday, that is.

I knew about that already, but... well, I guess I should have expected more crazy shit from this place.

Good. I think most people try and mention that to new guys, just out of kindness. Nobody wants that sprung on them in the middle of dinner.

At least, not anybody nice. I'm sure there's somebody around here who'd find that funny.

Heh. I'm a samurai back where I come from, so I can handle my sword pretty well.

Yeah? Hey, that's pretty neat. Sorry if this is a weird time to ask, but do you think you'd be up for a little sparring practice sometime? I like keeping my skills polished.

Considering we're having a conversation in the shower and aren't mutually weirded out by that, I think it's an okay time. And sure - I could use the practice, too.
