Drinking beer, of course (and Germany, this might have been your stash you were saving for something awesome, I'm sure). There're other kinds of fun beverages to help celebrate the new year, champagne and whatnot. Or, if you're pussies like certain other country-types, you can head inside for some hot cocoa or sommat]

Some fireworks couldn't hurt, either.
