Oct 27, 2009 15:02

[It is Tuesday, and thus everyone is expecting the Mess Hall to have the Tuesday Soup available. Only...today isn't soup. It's Jello--brown, human-flavored Jello with bits of flesh and eyeballs floating in it. And one coffee maid is poking a bowl of Tuesday Jello with a spoon, looking not-so-impressed ( Read more... )

I'm afraid not. I think it's called "Tuesday Jello".

[ just . . . pushes it away now ]

Is this camp messing with us again?

Most likely. Normally, it's a soup instead of a jello...but it's made with the same stuff.

I never bothered with the soup before, so this is . . . disturbing. Soup or not.

The "stuff" is . . . human body parts?

[ pushes the jello far enough so he won't see it ]

Is this is the first time jello has become this way in camp?

It seems that way. Normally, it's just a soup--"Tuesday Soup", is what everyone calls it. But I've never heard of it being served like this before.

Maybe camp got bored and decided to change things around.

Hopefully, no one accidentally stuffed this type of thing into their mouths.

Well, I haven't seen anyone try to actually eat it so far...

Is there a particular reason why "Tuesday Soup" was invented here?

*shrugs* I don't know. All I know is that the soup seems to have been on the menue for a very long time, and that it's always served on Tuesdays.

Seeing how nobody wants any of this stuff, they should take that off of the menu already.

But I don't know who normally makes the soup. I don't even know who normally works in the kitchens here.

I wonder if Camp itself makes it...

Now that you mentioned it, I find it hard to trust the food around here right now.

You can trust the food that I usually make!
