Sir Itachi, I would be truly honored if you could join me for tea tonight in my quarters. And if your brother would like to come, that would be most wonderful as well. I really must know more about your lineage; in my world, those born with such black hair and eyes are made to be royalty, and you certainly do carry such a noble air. If you would ( Read more... )

...Tea?

...

I doubt my brother would be interested.

Tea, yes. So would you please join me, Sir Itachi? I've brought out all my family charts and scrolls, so why not discuss your lineage while we drink?

As for your brother, I'm sure he could come with the proper coaxing. What was his name again?

...I suppose.

His name is Sasuke.

Then please, come right in. Will you be wanting one or two sugars?

Sasuke? ... How very sharp sounding. And would I be right in assuming that he is as naturally adept in weaponry and martial arts as yourself? Who were your parents? Were they Mazoku, or human?

...Sugar is not necessary.

Sasuke is not as naturally talented as myself, no. I was the prodigy of my clan.

Clan? Could there be a whole branch missing from Shin Makoku history? Were any of them related to Mazoku? Or had any sort of connection with our people at all?

Cream, then?

You even take your tea black? ♥

There must be something, though. Were there any documents, any family trees you've seen?

Some believe the Uchiha may be related to the Hyuuga.

Descended from.

I've heard the same.

Semantics.

Indeed.

Accuracy.

They say in the Hyuuga that Sharingan began as an aberration in Byakugan. Did they say the same in the Uchiha?

It is unlikely that clan pride would allow them to say such a thing.

Ah. I imagine that's true.

It does seem likely, though. Hyuuga is the older clan, and any mutation of the Byakugan would almost certainly be looked down upon.
