I had thought it was. I have seen silk for sale in China and there were many who wore lovely clothes of it with bold colors and shining thread. Laurence has his dragon robes, that he was given because he is my companion and a prince, and they are made of yellow silk with gold thread and jewels in the embroidery; he does not wear it often.
