[In the middle of camp, there is a pole. Not just any pole, mind you. It's taller than a flag pole, and it has a horizontal bar at the top. That's important, because hanging upside-down by a rope tied to his feet at the end of this bar is a man in a straitjacket. And if you watch him for a few minutes, you'll see him get his arms over his head.

Firemen's poles are metal. I'm going to end up with splinters in my ass going down this thing!

You know, I'm starting to think this must look easy from the ground.

[untying his feet while wrapped around the bar]

It does look easy! Or it would be for me at least- that's not so high that I couldn't jump down from it!

I'm pretty sure if I jumped from here, I'd break every bone in my body. And I like my bones whole.

Then that leaves shimmying down the pole for you! Want me to climb up there and help?

No, I... I think I've got it. I don't want to have a collision in the middle or anything.

A collision was what I was planning, actually- or something like it! I could brace you on your way down to prevent slipping. But if you feel safe with what you're doing, go on~!

I haven't felt this safe since I fell overboard.

[wraps the jacket around the pole and slides down]

Overboard what? A boat or an airship?

A boat, in the middle of the damn ocean. It got sunk by a sub.

By getting shot at or by crashing into it?

Shot at, not that it makes much difference--

It doesn't make too much difference, but one way's cooler than the other!
