Yes, I am very pleased for their state.

Yes, they look very well-cared for.

I hope this is in part due to my efforts, and also to the efforts of others before me who have seen flowers in need and tended to them.

[Sniffing at said flowers and snarl-squeaking.]

[the flowers growl back, but don't actually bite]

It may be that they are fond of you, Sir Flower Puppy Creature. Perhaps they sense a kinship.

They're dangerous. She would be able to talk to them.

They may be dangerous. I have noticed many things in camp are. However, they still suffer from weeds and thirst as do all leafy creatures.

She...?

They're just flowers...

I believe that they are neither just nor unjust: only flowers, and all flowers deserve a chance to grow.

Are you one of the gardeners?

I have no official title, but I am one who wishes to see these plants thrive. I am known as Nia.

Ah! A noble goal, indeed! If you are in need of assistance...

I would not deny this task to anyone who wished to take part, but I am capable of it by myself, as well.

Ah, either way... It's good to see someone taking care of the flowers, though!

I feel it is good to be taking care of the flowers! So we match.

Hmm~. It's almost strange, to find beautiful flowers in the middle of a swamp.

I should think then that it is strange to find a swamp around beautiful flowers. But many such things happen in camp.

Ah, but even in such a place as ... wherever in fact we are, I doubt that flowers would grow in such an unhospitable environment without being able to defend themselves. That's nature.

Sometimes, it is best not to have to defend. I have chosen to befriend these flowers.

You are not yet familiar with camp?
