This is quite remarkable considering we are standing at the entrance and the snackbowl is several feet away, and how his hand is currently hovering above the snackbowl whereas the place where his hand SHOULD be now has... nothing at all there.*

Teleportation and spatial manipulation. The magic I have imbued that card with should when you hold it and activate it's function by calling out for me immediately create a beacon I can travel to instantaneously.

If circumstances were optimal, I would be able to guarantee that I would appear whenever you activated it. However, camp likes to... add a little dash of it's own spatial manipulation to many of my attempts. There are times I am incapable of intercepting emergency calls, due to it's fickle nature.

Magic. I understand that word comes with many negative connotations in your world.

That's putting it lightly. In our world, anyone with magic is dangerous and destructive.
