[as you meander through the mess hall for supper, you might spot Souji standing by one of the tables. in his hands are birthday candles that he's sticking into a unicorn shaped cake that says HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUSUKE on it. not to far is package nicely wrapped in newspaper with a bow on top

Actually, it was a square when I put it in the oven.

I'm not sure if that should worry me more than it does.

I hope someone comes up with a lighter -- I don't think I'm going to be any help with that.

True. Though I'm not sure it would anymore, if you ask me to light it on fire.

Usually people are nice enough to lend me things.

Well, you have a very open, friendly face. It makes sense that people would be willing to help you.

I suppose we could offer them a piece of the cake, in exchange for using their lighter...
